La Armada de Indonesia (TNI AL) realizó un ejercicio de combate a gran escala en el mar de Java, que incluyó un ejercicio de hundimiento (SINKEX) como parte de un simulacro de fuego real más amplio en el que participaron unidades navales y aéreas. El buque objetivo era el buque de desembarco (LST) de la clase Frosch, KRI Teluk Hading (538), que había prestado servicio en la Armada de Alemania Oriental antes de ser adquirido por Indonesia en la década de 1990. El buque fue hundido por un misil antibuque Exocet MM40 Block 3 de fabricación francesa, lanzado desde la fragata de la clase SIGMA 10514, KRI I Gusti Ngurah Rai (332). La Armada de Pakistán realizó el primer disparo real conocido del misil de crucero Taimoor lanzado desde el aire en una función explícitamente antibuque. El comunicado va acompañado de una fotografía y un vídeo que muestran una barcaza flotante equipada con materiales reflectantes de radar, que presumiblemente ha sido construida para imitar la firma de un buque de guerra de superficie. En el vídeo se puede ver un proyectil de color naranja impactando contra la barcaza tras una trayectoria de vuelo terminal a baja altura sobre el mar, lo que sugiere que el misil Taimoor logró un impacto directo en la prueba. Si bien la Fuerza Aérea de Pakistán ya había realizado pruebas de vuelo con el misil Taimoor contra objetivos terrestres, el ejercicio del 21 de abril parece marcar el primer lanzamiento real del misil contra un objetivo marítimo del que se tiene constancia pública. El comunicado también evitó identificar el papel que la Fuerza Aérea de Pakistán podría haber desempeñado en el ataque, a pesar de que la Armada de Pakistán no opera aviones de ataque de ala fija capaces de desplegar el misil. Ese misil hace parte del desarrollo del programa antiaéreo baja cota de “l’Armée de Terre”, ese montado en los camiones Scania, que son tres versiones, una el Pamela con el Mistral, otra con un 20mm llamado Proteus, guiado especial contr drones etc. y otra con el radar G1X de Saab, que se llama, creo,, Varda o algo asi.
