Además de retrasar la salida del A10, tarde o temprano iba a ocurrir , también se aumenta la fecha de retiro del B-one y del B-2, este sigue siendo la bala de plata, aunque su coste de operación es estratosférico dada su mínima cantidad.

Y visto que la antiguedad y horas de vuelo de la flota legado de los cazas, y sus continuas operaciones, se aumenta la flota de F15X hasta 267.
Con ellos se sustituirán los aviones obsoletos de la Guardia Nacional, encargados de la defensa nacional y posiblemente los F15E de las dos alas de intervención global.
