Naval Air Systems Command, V-22 Joint Program Office, PMA-275 intends to negotiate and issue a Delivery Order under Indefinite-Delivery Indefinite-Quantity Contract SPRBL1-15-D-0017 to the Raytheon Company on a sole-source basis to provide Forward Looking Infrared (FLIR) Enhanced Local Area Processor (ELAP) Circuit Card Assembly (CCA) Builds for the MV-22 FLIR ELAP Retrofit Engineering Change Proposal. The procurement of these CCA Builds are required to provide improved and increased operational capability to existing MV-22 fleet system Equipment Units, replacing obsolete capabilities currently on the aircraft.

Type of appropriation is fiscal 2022 through 2027 Navy working capital funds. The contracting activity is the Defense Logistics Agency Aviation, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania (SPRPA1-22-D-001W).

This modification exercises options to procure 15 Nacelle improvements kits, rotatable pool components and interim spares. Additionally, this modification provides for the installation of eight kits in conjunction with conversion area harness, electrical wiring interconnect system assessments, sustaining engineering, and over and above requirements for the CV-22 fleet aircraft. Work will be performed in Amarillo, Texas (53%); Fort Worth, Texas (46%); and Ridley Park, Pennsylvania (1%), and is expected to be completed in June 2025. Fiscal 2022 aircraft procurement (Air Force) funds in the amount of $71,925,870 will be obligated at the time of award, none of which will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Maryland, is the contracting activity.

Bastante caro, pero rentable teniendo en cuenta la misión SAR

Work is expected to be completed by December 2026. Annual working capital funds (Navy) in the amount of $246,555,193 will be issued for delivery order N00383-22-F-0ZV0 that will be awarded concurrently with the contract and will initially be obligated at the time of award as an undefinitized contract action with a commitment of an additional $82,185,064 for period of performance from January 2022 through December 2022. Funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. One company was solicited for this non-competitive requirement pursuant to the authority set forth in 10 U.S. Code 2304 (c)(1), with one offer received.
